Congratulations to Celia Vincent for reading her doctoral dissertation!

The ANTIOX member Celia Vincent defended her doctoral dissertation on April 8th, and we would like to take the opportunity to congratulate her for her efforts and joyful disposition to conduct this work! Her thesis entitled “Postharvest life and quality improvement in climacteric fruit: a case study in ‘Bacon’ avocados (Persea americana Mill. cv. Bacon)” has been an excellent asset for the Agrifood section of the ANTIOX group with the nutritional characterisation and postharvest studies of avocados, a rising fruit crop in Europe economy.

The public defense of Celia’s dissertation was evaluated by the Dr. Maria Carmen Bergareche (Universitat de Barcelona), Dr. María Pilar Almajano (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and Dr. Alessandro Botton (Università di Padova), to whom we would like to thank their presence.
