New project to develop a commercial product that prevents postharvest decay

Main symptoms of postharvest decay in stone fruits.

The ANTIOX Agri-Food Biotech group has been awarded with the Llavor grant from the Industry Knowledge Program of the catalan goverment (Generalitat de Catalunya). This new funded project allows the development of a commercial product to prevent postharvest decay of stone fruits and therefore, reduce food waste during the delivery transport chain as well as at retailers' shops and homes.

The Industry Knowledge Program wants to promote R+D+I as a way to transform the market through the valorization of knowledge and innovative transfer with an investment in enterpreneurs. In so, in this project Prof. Sergi Munné-Bosch is the Responsible Scientitst for the project and Paula Muñoz is the Entrepreneur Scientist.
