Alba Arabia completed her BCs in Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona (UB) and her MSC in Novel Foods at Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She is currently studying a master’s degree in Environmental Agrobiology at the University of Barcelona. Alba started collaborating with the ANTIOX group in 2018, where she developed her BSc final project about the differential accumulation of tocochromanols in strawberry. For her MSc, she focused her research on the development of a commercial product to expand shelf-life of stone fruits during postharvest. At the moment, Alba is a PhD student of the fruit physiology and technology research line of the ANTIOX Agri-Food biotech group, where she is studying the complex interplay of hormones and biomolecules that regulate fruit ripening and postharvest.
